Epitaph Was aged 20 years by a ghost when the natural lifespan of a wild boar is only 10-20 years
Obituary Naaf has been a faithful and loyal companion ever since she saved her goblin ranger friend's life from dying on the battlefield. One day she was sniffing her way through a canyon looking for food when she came upon a strangely torn up bit of land. All around where craters and smouldering bushes, as well as the charred remains of goblins. Not fancying a meal of charcoal, she came upon a goblin who seemed a lot fresher and was about to start eating when it stirred; they were alive! Still hungry, Naaf was only dissuaded from eating the goblin anyway by the dying soldier's offer of a pair of blasted-off legs (their own, as it happens). They were a little charred, but they'd do. Now satisfied, Naaf and the goblin, an individual by the name of Pheebis Glugog, became a duo known simply as "The Pigs", tied together by a spiritual bond. How they formed this bond so quickly is anyone's guess, but without it Pheebis would have surely perished. Perhaps the spirits of nature themselves wished for the two to meet and for humble Naaf to save Pheebis' life?

Since then the two have been inseparable, with Naaf providing the locomotion Pheebis now lacks in return for food and companionship. Naaf has little understanding of Pheebis' goals but was quite happy to go along with any wackiness or danger the two encountered. Naaf even was happy to team up with some of Pheebis' friends: a rather large bat, a stocky humanoid, a pair of giant lizards, and a very grumpy goat who later turned out to have two heads. An odd group, but a lot of fun to travel with for Naaf.

This lasted until the fateful day they came up against a ghostly spectre. Something Pheebis did seemed to anger the ghost for a moment, who let out a hideous howl laced with dark magic. Naaf dropped dead on the spot, as she aged into a gnarled and grey old pig.

Rest in peace*, faithful friend.

*until we do the 8 hour ritual to bring you back, of course ;)
