Epitaph Died in a 1v1 against the Red Queen while defending Strahd, and ultimately trying to avenge Strahd.
Obituary Koist dapper and friendly man. He always tried his best to keep things lively and lighten anyone's mood. Without a life to remember before his original undeath, he became a self starter. Thrusting himself right into Noble status through duels, betting, or the good ol' fashion "He was already dead when I got here!" He would eventually become a delightful community figure where ever he lived, in between the priests and knights attempting to "purge" him, causing the drastic changes in location he would have to frequently make ever half year or so. He did like the traveling though. Interesting traveling companions, wonderful locations, and so many more things to experience. After one fateful wagon ride he found himself in the place where he knew he could be free of angry clergymen. Barovia. Koist obtained a small estate with house, and a windmill out of town, on his first day in the new region. He made acquaintances with the Lord of the land, who he would later be on familiar terms with, and eventually fall in line to inherit Castle Ravenloft upon "The Devil" Strahd's departure. He was the favorite among many in a few of the towns in Barovia, and he loved shopping at the toy makers shop in Vallaki. Sadly, what was suppose to be a pleasant day of joy turned out to be the grimmest day Koist would experience. After Lady Ireena was introduced to her past life, she attacked Strahd at the alter. Strahd and Ireena's wedding quickly turned to blood shed in that large chapel. Koist heroically jumped to his friend's aid, but Ireena convinced Koist's traveling companions to aid her in Strahd's demise. Lord Strahd von Zarovich passed there in the chapel. Koist, enraged, attempted to put her to the sword. But with prior magical wounds from his previous allies as he defended Strahd, the Red Queen put our valiant barbarian to rest once more.
The Lord of Durst Estate, Leader of the Mount Ghakis Barbarians, Champion of Tarakamedies, then Blessed of Argynvost
Rest in Peace Lord Koist CaPO IV
