Obituary ‘Here lies Sylas Blacktree, of House Blacktree located in Berdusk. His father was Tomas Tiberius Blacktree and his mother was Portia Robin Blacktree. It's an old House, and while it is not the most powerful, it is fairly prestigious and the name does carry some weight. Sylas was the third son, with two older brothers and one younger sister, his family was human aside from himself, as he was a Shadow Elf. He was somewhere in the Elven equivalent of his early 20s when he died, and was a Grave Cleric dedicated to Kelemvor. He was a strong believer in the idea that - while death is entirely natural - it should not occur before it's time. Therefore, Sylas ventured out into the world to help innocents and help prevent unnecessary death and pain. Despite his sheltered childhood, hidden from most of the outside world, he sought to be a force of good and was determined to help whoever he came across, no matter their plight.’
