Obituary The kingdom of Grasunia is a kingdom of Air Genasi that is very secretive. The kingdom floats in the sky about the ocean and rarely has visitors. One fateful night when Princess Witallia was 3 years old, a band of attackers infiltrated the kingdom and assassinated Queen Wynette. King Dorthan, heartbroken by the death of his love, became very protective of his only heir. Witallia spent the next 12 years of her life locked away in her chambers, her only interaction being with her tutors and servants.

Witallia’s only real memory of her mother was the way she played the violin. Queen Wynette was a renowned violinist, and Witallia has picked up on her natural talent. The only other thing she remembers of her mother was the pet name she had given her: Whistle.

One day, a band of traveling bards found their way into Grasunia by accident (or so they claimed?). Once they had proven themselves to be no threat to the people of Grasunia, they were treated to a single night of rest before they must leave. They help a concert for the royal family to thank King Dorthan back for his kindness. Witallia was enthralled with these musicians and realized that this is exactly what she has been missing from her life. Through some trickery and a little bit of magic she had learned from her studies, she managed to form a plan with the bards. They were going to bust her out and set her free! Through sheer luck, Witallia escaped with the bards and began to make their way down from the floating isles. The fates did not purely line up on Witallia’s side, as a storm blew in from the ocean and destroyed their path of decent. Some time later, Witallia awoke on the beach of the Sword Coast not knowing where she is, what anything is, of what she is going to do. And she was loving every second of it! Deciding to make the most of this, Witallia decided to adopt the name Whistle and explore this wondrous new world before her.

Whistle was a sweet little girl, taken from us at only 15 years of age.. I will miss her greatly.
