Details
Epitaph Siessa lost her life when she accepted an offer from a vampire queen and became one of her spawn.
Obituary Siessa was a druid living in Dorgoil, Kessig, Innistrad. She had a fairly normal childhood, and showed a talent for druidic magic and caring for her environment. The community of Dorgoil had a druid that protected them in the absence of Avacynian priests called Maria who looked after the young Siessa and taught her the ways of nature.

When she returned from her pilgramage, her town went up in flames. Although most of the people survived, she was blamed for the disaster for lack of anyone else. Her strange, pre-Avacynian ways were the cause. She spent a few years in prison, in which time she fostered a festering resentment to demons (who she believed were to blame for the disaster). She was eventually pardoned and moved on to Stensia, where she heard that people were being preyed on by vampires.

In Stensia, she came under the employ of a paladin named Gremia Hansel who kept her around as an advisor and guardian to the town. However, Gremia was accused of the terrible crime of assassinating her own father and godfather (the town captain and general, respectively) and was forced into hiding. Siessa, too, was forced to flee town. A year later, a small group of adventurers discovered the truth of the killings and Siessa returned with a clean slate.

Siessa joined the adventurers, hoping to investigate the new vampire queen who had usurped power in a nearby town. When she got there, the warlock of the party got arrested for possession of evil artefacts. She tried to intervene and the two of them ended up being interviewed by the Queen herself. Contrary to their expectations, the Queen told them she using her vampiric powers to do good. Siessa, remembering the demons who led to her imprisonment, saw the Queen as a way to gain power to fight them. She accepted vampirism as an alternative to being executed for colluding with the warlock. The last thing she saw with human eyes was her friend being executed by a firing squad.
