Epitaph Was blindsided by an acid sphere thrown by a dragonborn cultist.
Obituary Sera, named Serahpim by her mother (which she detests being called) was a member of the Silver Teeth Traveling Circus, headed by Diero Silverteeth. She never did quite find her niche performing talent, but she did become rather adept at gambling (or cheating as some may have called it). This fact caused her mother to berate Sera on an almost daily basis; comparing her to her sister Natalia who was talented in multiple performance styles.
The circus never brought in that many customers, which was just fine for them because the main income for Silverteeth's crew was thieving. And this was where Sera found her muse. She was "silent as a mouse fart and quick as a cabin boy with his first whore." as Diero liked to say, much to her Mother's chagrin. But still, no matter how good she did, Natalia was better, a fact her mother never neglected to add into her daily degradation.
One day Sera couldn't take it anymore. She packed up her kit and snuck out while most of the crew was out on their nightly heists or in the tent performing.
When she stumbled into a town under attack by cultists she never intended to stick around. However, she seemed to find her calling in maneuvering her hodgepodge of a team into disrupting the cults plans. They followed them across the country, making deals, and money, for the good of the nation; all the way to the lair where Tiamat was to be resurrected. As she and her team cornered the leaders of the cult she, unfortunately, got cocky, and missed the sphere of acid one of them had thrown, and did not survive the attack. Thankfully, her sacrifice was not in vain, and her company was able to put a stop to the evil cult.
