Obituary Mateas was a smarmy (but oh-so charm-y) wild mage, born a noble, who devoted his life to Sune, a goddess of beauty (and some would say, hedonism). Without him, his party was entirely unable to maneuver the delicate intricacies of the dreaded *social realm*, and had to resort to shouting threats and beating their chests at their political rivals and opponents.

As a sorcerer5/cleric1/bard1, he was full of fun tricks, but with an astonishingly low number of hit points, often not an enormous help in combat. Without his handsome looks and charm, his corpse may make for an inefficient tool.
