Epitaph Was killed by a Finger of Death and turned into a Zombie...
Obituary Brave and loyal Brynden was killed rescuing his compatriots from a cursed swamp. His efforts helped release his fallen brothers from undead servitude at the hands of an evil Swamp Witch, but not before he was killed and revived as the living dead.

Free from the thrall of the witch but no longer among the living, Brynden felt his vitality wane. His memories slowly faded as the darkness began to claim him, so he enlisted his friends for a final mission to his old homestead.

After eliminating a fiendish threat to his dear neighbor's farm, the party arrived at his childhood home to visit the final resting place of his mother. As he sensed his end approaching, the evil creeping through him began to overtake his body and the entity attacked his friends. They quickly banished the evil that possessed him and Brynden, purified but dying, collapsed on the ground. His best friend Rolan ran to his comrade's side, cradling his body as he died. He passed Rolan a letter detailing his last wishes, and said goodbye.

Rolan wept bitterly for his lost brother-in-arms, then carried his body over to the large tree on Brynden's family farm. Rolan buried Brynden's body next to his beloved mother, and placed the pair candles of continual flame the friends had found together on each of their graves, so that their light would shine on forever...
