Epitaph Held up a collapsing cave in a volcano whilst the party killed a dragon, barely escaped, but his cloak of flight burnt up midair.
Obituary One of the better characters of the party, Thokk was always there to lighten the mood, hit the bad guys, and take the hits for the good guys. Despite the dramatic death, he was revived when the party fought their way into the underworld, found Valhalla, and convinced Thokk there was more fun hitting to do back in the material plane.
The dramatic near-death of Thokk was pre-planned by the DM with the player, but at the last minute the DM pulled a switcheroo and made the player roll death saving rolls for the DM's fun. The player was not amused. (I maintain it was worth it.)
