Obituary Murfon was born to a nomadic tribe. He left the tribe to look into the world at large, and to join the ranks of the Emerald Enclave. He traveled to Red Larch where he joined a party of strangers wanting to help with the troubles that had been mounting in the Dessarin Valley in the last two years. He quickly came to discover a nasty cult plot to destroy the world and hand it over to the elements.

This journey was not without it's positives though. For in this party he met Valyre Nightmire. The two fell in love and ended up getting married while still trying to deal with the cults. Valyre it turned out was a princess, heir to a throne of a near by city state of Nightmire.

While Murfon was trying to think how he could live up to the life he married into, more trouble struck. A Kolbold attack lead to him returning home, only to find it in flames.

The tribe had been attacked by a horde of Kolbolds, under the orders of a dragon. It was then that Murfon found out the man he had known as his father, was not. A moment of weakness long ago had lead to his mother spending some time with who it turned out, to be a dragon. Murfon's aunt was not fond of her bother's antics and was seeking out all who come from his seed. Luckily Murfon talked his way out of it and returned to the matter of the cults.

After dealing multiple heavy blows to the cults, the cults attacked back. While the party was resting in Red Larch, the cult came with an orb to destroy it, and hopefully the party. The party attempted to stop this, but an ill fated Lightning Bolt from Murfon triggered the devastating earthquake early. The party walked away from the attack, the city of Red Larch did not.

Murfon was plagued with doubt while the party escorted the survivors to Waterdeep. Some of the survivors blamed him for the destruction of their home, and Murfon could not argue with that. The survivors of Red Larch safe and sound in Waterdeep, the party returned to deal with the cultists, their determination strengthened.

As the party plunged into the depths of the Black Earth cult's territory, the party barbarian felt like testing out a new druidic spell he picked up, Thunderwave. While the spell did not directly hurt Murfon, it was this spell that caused his death. The cult rushed to the sound of the loud boom and descended on the party. Most of the party got out alive, but Murfon did not. Trapped behind such great numbers his life was ended, all his wife could do was watch, and run away, her thoughts only of the child she knew she was carrying.

Valrye ran away, the pain too great to handle. She returned to Nightmire where she gave birth for Murfon's son, Murfon Whitewolf Junior. Sadly Valrye did not survive childbirth. Murfon's legacy lives on in his son, raised by uncle Bastiel Nightmire.
