Obituary:

Ingrid was the daughter of the Jarl of Lakeland, Jarl Heimir. She was disowned by the family by the time she was an adult for her debauchery and frivolous ways. While dying in the cold of her homeland, desperately fishing for food, she fished up three kuo-toa who claimed that her appearance at that spot and that time meant that she was a goddess that was prophesied to appear. Her ego restored, Ingrid awoke to her innate divine sorcery (triggered by the worship of the kuo-toa) and began to preach to the world of her newfound godhood.

She later teamed up with some fellow travellers and embarked on a quest to rid her home country of a curse that was causing it to freeze over completely. Her brother, the heir to her father's title, ordered her and her friends to find him the spine of a remorhaz so that he might build a cold-resistant airship for them to travel to the nearby mountains in, where the cursed winds were apparently coming from. She journeyed to a monument of a hero of her people where the creature apparently made its den. She stayed at the back of the group, sending some undead minions to scout ahead. However, she only left herself unprotected as the remorhaz leapt out of the snow to coil her in its white-hot snake-like body. After a minute or two of fierce combat, Ingrid was unable to escape and succumbed to the heat of the remorhaz, causing her to burst into flames.
