Obituary:

Raised as a follower of Yathagera, the Winged Queen, Beijeon had enjoyed a close relationship with her all his life. How could he have known she didn’t respond to all who talk to her? He spent his first 40 years or so training to be a guardian of Yathaghera with his family in the Feywild, until the goddess told me to seek new experiences in the Material Plane of Toril. Beijeon convinced a Summer-Mage to send him over and, once there, Yathagera revealed that she is known as Lurue, the Unicorn Queen, by most of the humans in this realm. As a sign of her favor, she granted him new powers and a new weapon, which he named Brighthorn. After meeting a group of adventurers and being trapped in Barovia for several months, Strahd finally trapped them in a deadly labirynth. Beijeon and the group's cleric found the exit, only to be offered a choice: offer a life in exchange for all the others or die together anyway. Beijeon made his choice.
