Obituary
Harold eventually took the surname Farmer as that was all his ancestry he could find. Growing from an agile, hearty and strong young boy who helped work the land that his family and their ancestors before them, to the Man that stood as a pillar to all those around them and Husband, to his dearly missed, Carrot, who perished before him.
He was a devout man that never outgrew his childish aspirations to be a Paladin of his favored God, but never felt the calling of They-Of-Mirrors-And-Shadows which was something he struggled to reflect on. This and the loss of his Wife Carrot tested his faith and made him all the stronger for it.
His martial accomplishments, first in the local militia where he was originally taught the Blade, Bow and Spear and attributed his success by shadowing those more successful and mirroring their actions. The religious twinge to his answer didn't enamor himself to the secular Leaders above him. His effectiveness and unpopularity lead him to doing more remote tasks. Secondly, under the local lord, he served in the Splinter Wars, earning minor distinctions and had many meetings with his future wife on opposite side of the Battlefield, not that they really spoke until they were both left behind after a Skirmish in Beetle Bog, though neither was without injury. The Scars healed but the damage was done. His skillful dexterity was brought down to the normal (Rolling 5 1s in a Row) .
They left the Wars behind them as he returned to home with Carrot. They married under the next full Moon. Choosing to farm instead of fight. Plague killed off the Splinter Wars but never reached their home. A few treasured years of peace with his beloved. A shoddy horse shoe saw him avoid the fire that would later become known as the Phoenix Pyre, one of the many things that reignited the Splinter Wars and left him without home or family.
He resettled into martial service being assigned to a small squad whose survivors (Bogs are terrible for our Table's rolls) would later go on to work together as Unaligned Mercenaries. In these war torn times, it was little surprise that he amongst others
Mork the Illusionist, Grinch the Specialist, Sword Brother Stewart Hilt of the Sword Faith, Glug: Seer, Lyander 1st of his Name, both Barrister and Bladedancer are all left poorer for the loss of Harold (not just because he was carrying the funds) and will struggle to replace him. They welcome any mourners and well wishers to meet with them.
