The robed man tried to poison him; it began from a simple drinking contest, but the wizard bastard hurt bystanders, and hailed from a despoiled alchemy college. Owain investigated for days, fought through orcs, ogres, subdued a manticore, domesticated a giant scorpion, slayed many basilisks, and enraged a black dragon. The wizard was found and reared his head, the green ray the last sight before Owain's demise. As dust in the desert, all that was left was his Flame Tongue
