Obituary:

Grew up in Nordun, an orphan whom was raised by the entirety of the village collective. Mostly taken care of by Grof, Triss grew up in the care of an entire village.

Her birth mother dropped her off in Nordun's Tavern, leaving the infant in a basket with a simple note that read only, "Triss Merigold, please take care of me." Triss never discovered why her mother left her, though it was due to the mother being an unmarried 15 year old, trying their best to prevent being disowned by her family. 

Growing up with magic in a winter-esque town was difficult, the town having no magic users that lived there permanently. Occasionally an older wizard would come into town and teach her spells, while staying momentarily on his way to Northguard, and back to Eastholm. 

Triss looked up to this man, and he is the reason she thinks she's such a badass with magics.

After growing to maturity Triss dreamed of adventure, wanting to get away from the monotony of Nordun life. She wants to start a family one day, not so much with children, instead with cats.
