Obituary:

Thia was a princess destined to be a queen. Her kingdom kept its peace by crowning their new queen every century that passed. However Thia did not want to lead that life, and in the night the day before her crowning, she took off with her crown to lead her own life. 

She wandered for many years, learning the art of the arcane. One day happening on a ship to deliver goods to an island that is only accessible 3 months during the year. That was her chance to live without fear. 

She met new friends and went on many adventures, she fell in love with a man who she saw as a hero, created deep bonds with every person in her group. 

But her past eventually snuck up on her, and the elven army that had been hunting her for many year finally caught up, appearing at the docks to take her back. Despite her friends preparing to battle, she begged them to stop. Calmly, as if she had prepared for this moment since the day she ran away, she reached into her boot. Pulling a dagger out, she slit her own throat in the arms of the guards that siezed her. Her mother cried out for her child, and her father called the army off. They had retrieved the crown, and that’s what mattered, leaving the princess’ body on the dock.
