Ponto fled the Halfling enclave within Calimport after a mysterious magic imbued him with powers while sapping his twin brother's life leaving him bedridden. 

Viewed as cursed by his family, he slept on the streets for a few years, before meeting friends and beginning his quest to heal his brother. 

Dying at only 19 is a true tragedy for a long lived race. His death restored his brother Porto's energy. Neither he nor his family will ever know that he achieved his goal...
